Established in 1989, ETEX Corporation develops, manufactures and commercializes calcium phosphate-based biomaterials for improved orthopedic clinical outcomes. A leader in bioresorbable bone substitute materials, ETEX focuses on expanding applications through combinations with cells, biologics, or therapeutic agents delivered in minimally invasive and easy to use systems.


ETEX's facilities in Cambridge, Massachusetts, were designed with the purpose of developing and manufacturing quality products in a safe and efficient manner. To accommodate increasing demand, a facility expansion is currently ongoing to expand the current 22,500-square-foot facility.

All of ETEX's proprietary manufacturing activities are conducted in a controlled manufacturing facility that is FDA registered and ISO 13485:2003, MDD 93/42/EEC Ax.II.3, ISO 13485:2003 CMDCAS certified.
